hey i keep getting these php errors from my site

Warning: main(../ids.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /freeola/users/2/ 4/sr0232042/htdocs/mmorpg/html.php on line 2

Warning: main() [function.include]: Failed opening '../ids.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/php4/lib/php') in /freeola/users/2/4/sr0232 042/htdocs/mmorpg/html.php on line 2

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /freeola/users/2/4/sr0232042 /htdocs/mmorpg/setup.php on line 67

I remember hearing that freeola has some special rules for php and was wondering if perhaps that is why I was getting these errors?

any help appreciated

Well its basically a database error as you've figured. Best guess is that its run a query and its failed to return a result. So the sort of things to check is whether the database is set up correctly, have you changed the relevant user/pass in the scripts, were there any tables that needed to be created and so on. Quite hard to suggest much without knowing what it is you're running.

thanks for that mate, I found the file and put it where it should be.

However I still get the last error which is:

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /freeola/users/2/4/sr0232042 /htdocs/mmorpg/setup.php on line 67

what does this error mean? well i get what it means but why is it not a valid resource?

The scripts you are running cannot find a file they need. They are looking for ids.php, and they're expecting it to be in the directory above the one the scripts are running from.

So the question to ask yourself where is ids.php. If its there, then perhaps your directory structures are incorrect. is this some off-shelf thing you're installing? If it came in a zip/rar file make sure you uncompressed it with the directory structure intact.
