Obie has just arrived home from Mars, where he purchased a new game for his recently bought console, the 'Nintendo Gamesphere'. He is getting very excited, as he is just about to play his new game.
Obie sets him self up for the game, he fastens patches to his arms, hands, knees and feet and then places a special pack above his head. Now that he has he virtual reality kit in place he inserts his new game into the Gamesphere.
Now its time for Obie to start his new game. Obie switches his VR kit on, to see the Intro of Super Duper Lario Moonshadow. Obie is particularly impatient at this time, as he can't wait to see his Dad appearing on the screen. That's right; Obie's Dad plays the part of the leading character Lario.
Obie selects 'New Game' from the list. Shortly after he is asked by a human voice if he wants to save his progress onto the memory chip. Obie reply’s "yes". A window then popped up on his VR vision displaying:

Obie was shocked at how little space the games save data needed. This was nothing compared to the size of his 2000 GB memory chip.
A split second after Obie had said 'OK' to continue, the first movie sequence had loaded. Lario (his dad) was blasted away from earth towards his latest adventure, the moon. A few seconds later Lario arrived at the moon where he was confronted by a group of Moonmins. The Moonmins told Lario, that Lario's love partner; Princess Frogchair had been kidnapped by the evil and sadistic Spikesaw.
It was Obie's turn to begin the adventure, as he is now in control of Lario. Obie starts wondering around the place, not realising that not only is he moving Lario around the place, he is also moving himself around the place. Obie walks up to a crater with a deep black hole in the middle of it, and the only way to get passed it is to jump it. Of course, Obie being Obie didn't consider the consequences of what would happen to him if he tries to jump the hole.
Obie takes a few steps back from the hole to give him self plenty of space for his run up. Obie counts 1....2.........3 and then makes a dash and then jumps. Lario is half way over the gap, when all of a sudden there is a big '''THUD'''. Lario appears to have hit an invisible wall over the crater, and plummets to his death. However this was not an error in the game, it was in fact Obie running, and jumping into a brick wall. As soon as Obie made contact with the wall, he stopped and therefore so did Lario.
Obie picks himself back up onto his feet where he then continues his adventure as Lario.
Later on in the game Lario comes across a mushroom. This was no ordinary mushroom and therefore Obie decided to give it a try. First of all Lario began to feel dizzy and noxious, causing him to hallucinate. Obie could see large colourful bunny rabbits jumping across his screen; one of them stopped and shouted 'I wIlL eAt YoU!’ Obie got scared as he realised he had just eaten a magic mushroom. These aren't your ordinary magic mushrooms. These magic mushrooms are special.
Lario began to shake, as everything about him began to get bigger, his arms, and legs and now the rest of his body was twice its normal size. Now that Lario had grown, Obie began to feel stronger as he went up to all of the evil Moonmins and started jumping on their heads. Obie was having fun killing all of the evil Moonmins until he slipped, causing Lario to fall into a pit of spikes, therefore shrinking back to his original size.
By this time, it was time for Obie’s dinner. He took his VR set off and headed down the escalator towards the kitchen. His mum asked what he had been doing to himself. Obie then looked in the mirror to find out that he had bruises from head to toe.
The moral of this story is:
Think before you release any futuristic gaming devices!
Unless you want all us gaming fans to end up like Obie.
