MS has sold more consoles.
MS has sold more games per console.
MS therefore has a better console- selling far more units and games.

God, Cube Europe must be a pretty poor site if it posted about the Xbox recall...
Not only is their NO recall after all (it was just made up by some idiots!), but only 600 people have complained about their Xboxs- which is far far better than Sony's console fault record, and on par with Ninty's.
Oh, and as for the rubbish about the console wrecking games- it only scratchs the edges of the disc- leaving the data intact.

So to sum all this up....
There is no one of the 3 next-gen. consoles that beats the other by miles!
All consoles are the same, as they all have problems at first.
Who's to say this 'c***-up' won't happen with the GameCube!!

Another uninformed, biased post. Before you post things like this, a word to the wise - research it first.
If you'd bothered to do this you'd find there was translation error in the article and the fact that only 1% of XBox's sold in Japan have experienced this problem.

I agree there - this is a one-sided, and totally biased topic that does not present both sides of the view/argument and is just down-right poor. No offence mate, but you may like to expand your ideas a LOT, thus making it somewhat longer. I dare say that a long post is any better than short one, though.

Before the Jap launch of the PS2, Sony had their own version of SpaceWorld. Not only did every main screen demo fail, but demo pods kept on crashing. So bad was the problem, that all main screen demos were canned, and all demo pods had holes drilled in them so you could press the reset button!
And then MS go off and have one crash at one game conference, and people like you happily say how rubbish the console is! All it shows is your arrogance to the market- not actually knowing about Sony's massive mistakes simply because you read biased mags and web sites.
Secondly, the GC launch:
Now, someone was saying that the GC beats the Xbox. Well, not only is the Xbox selling better than the GC, but Sony, MS, Ninty and industry analysts predict 45% of the market for Sony, 35% for MS and 20% for Ninty (in 5 years time).
Not only this, but the Japanese GC launch was equally as aweful as the Xbox- it didn't get anywhere near sold out, and shops were left with huge surplusses!
