Get a PS2 if

1-You like driving sims aka get GT3.

2-You don't want to wait for the top games.

3-You want the console most of your mates own.

4-You want budget games now.

5-You want to play dvds strait away.

Get a XBOX if

1-You must play Halo.

2-You want to be ready for broadband gaming.

3-You like PC games.

4-You want to play DVDs but you need to get the controller.

5-You want the best tech specs.

get GC if

1-You want the cheapest console.

2-You don't want to play DVDs.

3-You must play Mrio or Zelda or Res Evil.

4-You want to play with the best joypads.

5-You play a lot of multi-player games there is loads of them .

well all pads of got there good and bad points cos ps2 i find easy to use but i would not be with out xbox pad on halo and gc is easyer than xbox pad.

That helped me alot, it made me realise that the Playstation 2 is the best console around.

Personally I find the PS2 pad to be the easiest to use, I just find it awkward to reach some of the buttons on the GC controller sometimes, eg. I got Rocky yesterday, and trying to go from a low body puch to a right hander to the head is kinda awkward.

I apdapted to it immedietly, and it is the most comfortable pad I've ever used
