I have: £42.02

This has to pay for my bus fares next week, which could be anywhere between £6.00 and £9.25

Metal Gear Solid 2 is £36.99, from SR, plus 50p next day postage, which makes £37.49. This leaves me with £4.53. B****r.

Now, I can always scrounge a few quid, so I can actually afford to buy it AND get home from school. The main problem is this:

10 March, this Sunday, Mother's Day.

BUGGER!!!

I will have nothing tot get my dear old dear. She'll be gutted. I at least have to get her a card, but there's no way I'll be able to afford it. Plus, if I don't get her anything, she won't pick me up at Knaresborough next week which make my bus fares a definite £9.25.

So, do I choose Metal Gear Solid 2, or a home to go to at night?

MGS2, home. MGS2, home, MGS2, home...

Tricky.

What a great idea! :)

Ha ha

Anyway, doing a CD for her would be good

But if you REALLY want to be stingy, just go up to her and tell her you love her. She'll forget all about a present

Darn... this thread has reminded me I have to get summat too! And I have to get my mate summat for his 18th on March 17th! Argh! I only have £15!!!

D'oh!

Failing YH's idea, which is great, you could always make her a present. Mother's like that sort of thing, shows that you've actually made an effort.

Burn her a cd of her favourite music. Bet it'll work.
