I read news from the Gameplay site a few days ago that there is going to be a Metal Gear Solid 2 demo released early next year with Konami's Z.O.E. (Zone Of the Enders). Sketched in at an early 2001 release, this will probably triple the sales of this game. Mind you looking at some screenshots of Z.O.E it doesnt half look bad.
If you haven't already, get hold of either of the launch issues for the new PS2 magazines: PSM2 & P2
Both have video footage of ZOE, and like several other games, it looks far better than the screenshots.
Also, if you didn't already know, ZOE is actually a product of Hideo Kojima and some of the MGS2 team - so it should be awesome, if you like that sort of thing. Personally I'm not sure it's my type of game, but it looks great, and I'll be keeping an eye on it simply because of who's creating it. I've never been one to buy a game based on looks alone, so for me, ZOE is a definite "try before you buy".
