Guys,

Just wanted to know if anyone is looking forward to the launch next week, is anyone buying one?

Halo looks good but personally I think it is too expensive, for just Halo, none of the other games really interest me.

Sorry if you have had this all week, but I have had a hectic few weeks and so haven't been on here for a while.

Iam gettting one, cant wait. There are 4 launch games that iam getting, which is the most i've ever got with a console on launch. Getting PGR, DOA3, JSRF and HALO. Also Amped looks good, Bloodwake is ok. Then there are the sports games and other half decent games. Overall a decent launch line up.

In the coming months there are a few good games coming out, one of which is Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Iam really looking forward to this game :)

I agree Savatt that the next few months are crucial and there are some great games coming out in a few months, but there is nothing really to make me get it...yet!

As far as the controller being re-released, I can't really see that happening as it doesn't happen that often.

Hang on I suppose Sony sort of released there analogue pad when the N64 analogue pad came out later, well we will have to wait and see but that was a major downside I must admit. Sony's sleek Dual shock wins hands down at the moment for me!

You played Fusion Frenzy and Blood Wake. FF is pretty crap really and Blood Wake is a more arcade style game. Its not just about the launch though, the following month or 2 will see some excellent games coming out.

Not to mention the games being worked on now that will be out in the very near future.

As far as the controller goes, the complaints about it will no doubt get back to Microsoft. Its not like another, smaller alternative can't be brought out. Maybe they'll bring out the smaller Japanese controllers over here at some point.

I must agree that the controller is pants!

I find it kinda hard, to believe that with the Sony Dual shock controller and Nintendo's reputation for great cntrollers they have really sold themselves short.

It was really uncomfortable!

I played that game where you are in a ball and crash into each other and some Gunboat game?? Don't know the name!

Halo does look really really good though!

I played an X-Box last week.

I don't like the size.
I don't like the controller.
I don't like the look of any games except Halo.
I don't like Microsoft.
I don't like the X-Box.

But it is ok overall. :D
