If you are a member of my unofficial fan club, you may have noticed I have not been appearing on Special Reserve's message board for a good few days. There has been very good reason for that too! I have managed to aqquire three new games which required my immediate attention, being Metroid Fusion on the Game Boy Advance, Starfox Adventures on the GameCube and Star Wars: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast on the GameCube. As well as seeing some action from my newly aqquired Xbox, I have been very busy this last couple of days with my aqquisitions.

First of all, I am extremely pleased with Starfox Adventures. Although not the best game in the world, it has given me many hours of enjoyment already and makes me feel happy in my decision to buy it. However, my other GameCube purchase hasn't pleased me so well, being Jedi Knight 2. It feels too much like a PC game (well it is, isn't it?), however, it still plays well. The multiplayer modes are a tad bit boring though, as my brother and I have found out. My Game Boy Advance's latest playing was most enjoyed, especially seeing as it is the first Metroid game I have had the chance to play for more than five minutes! It is fantastic, and reminds me of the old-school gaming I used to enjoy so much on past consoles!

My Xbox, since I bought that, hasn't seen as much action though. I have played a little of the four games I own, but with the major destraction of Starfox Adventures, Eternal Darkness and TimeSplitters 2, I haven't had much time for my Xbox, other than to play episodes of Red Dwarf and Family Guy seasons 1. I wouldn't be suprised if my DVD remote is getting closer to wearing out than my controllers!

I have to admit that my gaming like couldn't be much better at the moment. I have the opportunity to play one of more than ten consoles whenever I like, and I even work with games too (though I am changing jobs very soon). Plus I have such a choice of games on most the consoles that I am happy to say I wont get bored very quickly with the games I own.

So those of you planning on starting rumours about my leaving of Special Reserve, think again. I may not be participating so much, but I am earning money now and have less time to do anything. Those of you in school are having it easy! Just wait until you get to the real world! Just don't expect me to be the first to reply to your topics...

Reminds me of my Grix in Socks post a while ago, the Fox in Socks parody. Wonder where that is...
