On the eve of Thierry Henry's FA hearing Alex Ferguson has accused Arsenal of deliberately delaying the hearing and he has stated that Arsenal have used their 'influence' in the FA to ensure any ban imposed is at a convinient time.

What a load of nonsense !! Ferguson has made these comments in a sad attempt to pressurise the FA into giving Henry a lengthy ban. Fergie is feeling the heat as he knows his team have their work cut out if the are to prevent the championship title going to Highbury in May.

I seem to remember Roy Keane and about six other Utd players chasing a referee half way around the Riverside stadium a couple of years ago when a decision went against Utd. Did any players receive a suspension ?. Of course they did'nt. Did Arsenal accuse the FA of favouritism - NO.

Ferguson seems to be able to say what he likes, even when it has nothing to do with his team. The FA should charge him with bringing the game into disrepute.

I would love it, love it, if the Utd-Arsenal game went to the last week of the season with the title in the balance, especially given Arsenals away record. Perhaps this year we will get a season climax similar to Anfield 1989 - which was so memorable. If Arsenal win the Champions League it would still not compare to that famous night (for me anyway).

I agree with Ortega that mind games are very important this time of the season, and both these managers are always good at them, as they always seem to be going head-to-head, every year!

I also seem remember Wenger actually saying he SAW this incident in an interview!! That's the first time in a while that i've actually heard Wenger admit to seeing an incident!

And if the United - Arsenal game is moved till the end of the season, the title could already be won, so the game MAY be less enjoyable. But that's unlikely, as they'll always be going head to head in any game, even a friendly!!
They're big rivals and one will never go easy on the other - like the managers!

Massive game. Whatsmore, I understand that if Arsenal beat Newcastle in the FA Cup on Saturday then the United - Arsenal game will not be played until the final week of the season which will be a great climax to the season.
