Camelot have announced both Mario Golf and Mario Tennis for Gamecube.

Good news?

Apparently Mario Tennis will have a quite different engine, so you won't win using the same old techniques.

I don't know if I'll get Mario Tennis, as I have the N64 version, but I never had Golf, so it's a maybe.

GC - GBA links a possibility?

A Mario sports title always keeps me hooked, even if just for the sound effects...Nothing like seeing Luigi cry his head off after losing on Mario tennis :) Wario and Waluigi are also pritty funny when they lose..

Just found out the news...they'd be a welcome addition. But how about other sports games with Mario? Any ideas?

Same way with Smash Bros, Strafex. Crap loads of extras to keep you playing for a loooong time.

Mario Tennis is actually pritty hard on the hardest level setting (intense is it?)

Anyway, I had loads of multiplayer fun with Mario tennis. Single player was allright but nothing special.

I coudnt even find Mario Golf in the shops when I wanted it so it would be very welcome in my Gamecube collection.

All very nice.

Yeah, good idea! Mario Sports would be a great package, and it'd be wise to also keep Mario Kart seperate! They could maybe also produce more Mario sport games, but forget Dr. Mario!

I have played Mario Tennis on the N64 and it's fun as a multiplayer, but also easy as a single player!
All you have to do is stand in the middle of the court with a big player and smash the ball!

But it'd still be a good GC title!
I've never played Mario Golf, sposed to be quite good though.
