This only applies to European makes before some starts asking why Japanese and Ford are not the list.

Also there are other makes but the 4 biggest are VW, Fiat, BMW and the other.

IF anybody knows please tell me as it is annoying me.

Skoda are now part of VW I think. There are 4 main car businesses Fiat own Ferrari, VW, BMW and i cannot remember the other make.

The 4 top makes own most of the other european makes.

It's a bit different from a V10, over 800 bhp engine. I think they would get their fair share of blow ups.

Their road cars and Rally cars are actually really reliable.

Their Rally cars have the best reliability out of all entries for something like the last 10 years.

What exactly are we basing Skoda's reliability on?

Skoda are very reliable and probably won't be fast but will finish more races than others, unless because of an accident or driver error.

Seriously though for a minute it would make sense for the V.A.G group to enter this way because if it is a failure then what would they lose by using the Skoda name - absolutely nothing.

If it did pay off and they had a bit of success then they could switch to the Audi or VW name to boost their profile.
