Can someone please help me decide whether I should get this game or not?
I loved GTA3 but I'm hearing mixed reviews about this game.
It looks great fun but I'm not sure whether it will be as brilliant as it looks....

Basically I'm wondering about the Revolution mode. How many missions are there? What kind of things do they include? Are they fun?

Please tell me more about it, as I can find hardly anything about it online apart from a reviews that don't really go into much detail about the game itself...

I think its about 175 unique missions. These range from collecting a certain item, to escorting someone to a certain place, killing anyone that attempts to hurt the person you are escorting.

I think that you would probably like this game if you liked GTA3. Don't get me wrong, these games are completely different, but they are the same type of game.

If you aren't sure, can't you rent it?

If I get time later, I will quote from the manual about the missions.

I definitley would not use the word "unique"

The missions become very samey after a while and just get plain boring and annoying. Just the same thing really, maybe a few more people shooting at ya or whatever.

My advice is try before you buy.

I said "unique" as thats what it says in the manual.

I'll quote the bit about missions....

"There are several varied types of missions in the game, including:

-In kill missions you must hunt and kill one or more targets, some kill missions must be completed quickly before the targets flee to safety.

-In steal missions you must find and steal an important item from the corporation and return it to friendly agents or your safe-house base

-Escort missions involve you escorting and protecting a friendly agent as they complete objectives.

-Protect missions involve protecting one or more friendly characters or defending a building from invasion. You will fail these missions if the character(s) are killed or corporation agents eneter the building.

-In rescue missions you must rescue a friendly agend, or civilian from the corporation, and usually escort them to safety.

-Destroy missions involve attacking and destroying a building, often a key corparation building."

And there's more.....

"The revolution game features 175 unique missions spread over four levels. As you complete missions, you will unlock new ones. while completeing all the missions will unlock new levels and playable characters."

Any more questions?

(Sorry about any typos I may have made. It is probably as I am typing fast to try and get this copied out quickly)

Ive got state of emergency and as Tom says theres abt 175 mision and possible some extra ones to.

I like this game as its 'different' to most games, there are various tasks which you have to carry out as a gang member such has deliver items, beat people, make sure people dont get out the building, protect someone whilst they plant bombs.

You have to watch for the mall rats and other gang members which try and attack you on your missions.

You can have various weapons and also use items such as bins, benches etc to aid you on your way. There is also many people rushing around scared, so you have to stay focused

If your into Beat em ups, Challenges and Violence, then I recommend the game to you.
