My friend tried it once, but he fell asleep at midnight, leaving the playstation running.
I did it once, it was not easy though, But I kept awake over 24 hours trying to making sure I would'nt lose not that I bothered after overlaping all the cars so many times.
(I had a couple of break after every 5 hours) after the race was over, quite a bit of money I won and a car. but the problem was that at the time! which was 3 years ago I think the memory card was full or could not take any more space! So I never try the race again because I was certain it would kill me!
So how would you survive the race!

I can think of lots of ways but most of them are illegal.
A 24 hour race would be easy if you had a challenge.
How about a 24 hour wacky race.
24 hour race? that sounds really really really boring, but I like the game, what car did you use? + why the heck did you want to do it? think i'd have to move my tv and console into the kitchen with a sofa and sit there playing it, maybe lean my head over the sink and leave the tap on so I wouldn't have to tun it on...hhmm, need a comfy chair though.
also, is it one player? I think playing against mates would be 'ok' but pit stopping and swapping with a mate might seem a little...well, hope ya had fun, doesn't sound like a waste of a day at all.
