So we are no less than a full month away from the 25th of December, that day where we all get-together to celebrate, giving and recieving gifts, all in memory of the birth of Jesus Christ (apparently!). If there's one day in a year we all look-forward to it's Christmas Day (or maybe the day when Arsenal and United meet at Old Trafford)!
It's time to get in the holiday spirit and begin to celebrate and enjoy the occasiona amongst your friends and loved ones (outside of the PC world, obviously!).

When Christmas time rolls-around each-year retailers can expect to see women running-around for weeks, fending off the crouds in the mad-rushes on Christmas Eve, trying to get to what they want before everyone else with money flying around all-over the place.
A lot of money can be made at Chrsitmas time (and I'm not just talking about selling snowballs to Council Estate kids!). So wouldn't you know it, Bill Gates has to fit-in to all this somewhere, doesn't he...

Incase you're unaware, Christmas is often shortened-down to the simpler term known-as "X-mas" in christmas cards, letters, e-mails, and text messages alike. And this is what has gotten everyone's favourite nerd and Microsoft top-dog into one of his new ideas, once again...

It all bears down to it being about him and what should be his. He wants it all. But this time, he believes he actually has the right to own "Christmas", like it is some kind-of 'money making scheme' like that company we all know well called "Microsoft".
After the release - and limited success - of his Microsoft X-Box, Billion-Dollar-Bill has decided that enough-is-enough and that everything with an X in it must be his. Starting with the holiday tradition that is only 3-and-a-half weeks away.

Who he is going to buy it from, and how much he is going to pay is really a mystery to us all. We believe he has already sent his minions out to the North Pole in-search-of Santa Claus (aka. Father Christmas), and we've already seen this year with the purchase of Rareware that he is prepared to pay ANYTHING to get what he wants!

If this all goes through and we do find ourselves celebrating a Merry "Microsoft X-Mas", what can we expect to see happen on December 25th?
Here are few ideas and speculations about what could be...

Well, for a start, when you wake-up on Christmas morning you should still be able to see a tree (now shaped like Mr.Gates) set-up in your living room with presents and gifts wrapped-up surrouding.
However, what you may notice about these 'gifts from Santa' is that they all seem to be larger and bulkier than you remember them being only a-few-hours-ago. Open them up and expect to find nothing but Micrsoft! PC's, X-Box's, and no slippers or socks... If Gates has made it, you name it - it'll be there!
After unwrapping all your gifts to find that little Timmy and Jessics now hate you for not getting them what they really wanted, I'd advise you to take a good-look around your house for any - if not ALL - valuables and precious items that may have gone missing!
You know what Bill Gates is like, he'll do anything for money and also to make himself even-bigger, and richer, than ever-before! Be warned... Christmas may not be so "Merry" for you all this year!

We've seen what he's like in the past, and so we can predict what might happen this time-around. You'd just better hope he doesn't get his way this time!
Surely he must have enough money by now!!?? Even with the X-Box failing to meet expectations Microsoft are still more-than 'well-off' when it comes to finances!
But obviously he wants more... And with his determined power-mad ways he will stop-at-nothing to get whatever it is he wants.

After the purcase of X-Mas we can expect to see a homeless fat bearded man wondering around the streets of London searching for a new job. But whatever will he be after next?? Will be be eating chocolate-covered "Easter X" come March/Aprill???

I wish you a Merry X-Mas and a happy(-ish) New Year...!
