I honestly wasn't expecting this, It just happened that I spotted the Tiny system as I was walking past the shop, I couldn't get over that.
Anyway, I walked straight to the system and realised that the man in front of me was playing Luigi's Mansion-Japanese Version-But totally in English (Another surprise!).

As with my experience with the XBOX I firstly examined the system itself and was truly surprised at the size, it is very small. Put it this way, throw all your ideas away of what you have of the system, it looks small in magazines and of pictures on the internet, but in reality the system is not just small- but extremely small! and very advanced looking despite what the bashers say. The actual Controller itself would dwarf the top end of the system its that small!.
Anyway, after waiting my turn to get playing the game, I finally grasped at the Controller and the first thing you will notice is the comfort of the thing, it really is so comfortable, perhaps the most comfortable Controller of all time.
I Pressed at the R button, pushing it all the way down and hearing a chunky 'click' which will of course play an important role in Starwars Rogue Leader, the other buttons being the X, Y Kidney buttons are perfectly suited to the position of the controller and taking into effect of where your thumb will be-...Perfect!
The large A button is also perfect, although I kept trying to hit the B button thinking that it is above the A button (I blame my continuous play on the N64 for this) but the button sits below left of that button being the B button, it'll take some getting used to for me that one!.

When I got to play Luigi's mansion itself, I was awe struck of the actual beauty of the game, it is a true stunner in visual terms. I was not expecting it to look so well, sure I've seen the game in magazines and on videos on the internet, but in reality (Like the System) you have to see the game running to believe how visually stunning it looks! and I'll even go as far as saying that it beats ANY of the XBOX demo games in visuals (from what I played of them in the standard XBOX pod).
Over-all-It really surprised me, Ill tell you that. If this is what Luigi's Mansion looks like in visuals, what on earth will Rogue Leader look like to me when I eventually play it, considering that it is the Gamecube's stunner so far?.
The game itself, after the overly long build up intro and training missions, is fantastic.
The gameplay would have to be unique surely, sucking the ghosts up running around from room to room is a joy to actually play, but given that I actually played the game for only 20 Mins, a full on test would have been needed to give a true opinion of the gameplay itself. So don't take my word for it concering how it plays.
The stereo Sound pumping out of the speakers is great, listening to Luigi humming and whistling adds a bit of humour to the game too, its quite funny- and hitting A will have Luigi Yelping for his brother Mario, top stuff!
All in all I was left extremely pleased for what I got to play of the system, considering what the system will have released for it this year in AAA games, the PS2 and XBOX has a lot to live up to match Nintendo's latest beauty.
Im happy now that I got to see and play it.
Fantastic!

I must say, I played on a GameCube the day after it was released in Japan. I was shocked to find that my local CEX had a demo machine, only 1 day after its release. Incredibly fast post is all I have to say about that.

Amazing really

Nintendo states a Polygon count of 12Million a second, but in reality as many developers have said-the specs of the Nintendo Gamecube is a 'what you see is what you get' a WYSIWYG of the gaming world! -That means it produces 12 Million a sec with ALL effects turned ON!! Bump Mapping etc.. You name it! Thats why the GC is so good in visuals! The PS2 and XBOX on the other hand tell everyone of their 'High' specs, but that is with everything Turned OFF!! I.e-With NO effects taking into account of being turned on, near enough all PS2 games that use all effects are BELOW 10 million polygons a sec and with XBOX effects turned On the number falls to about GC range of polygons, so really the worst system of the lot in polygon count would be PS2. You shouldn't look at bare specifications.

The best thing I found was the controller. Amazingly everything just felt like it was in the right place and the shoulder buttons are quality. Microsoft, look and learn!

Amazing really when you have to remeber that the GCN has the lowest polygon count of the 3 machines!...
