GBA users should be aware that the game features on both PDA's and Mobile phones is improving quickly. The software inside these devices is getting very clever, and there are more and more game's launching. Add in the fact the GBA screen is not that impressive (there are PDA's and phones with better screens), and it's possible that games could actually be better on PDA's and Mobile phone's over the next couple of years.

that would be no fault of nintendo or the game boy advance. I have not heard anyything about nintendo making any colin macrea games.

and also the pc original doom was also far superior to that

probably. Pc game vurses handheld. not really a fair comparison, my comrade.

nintendo do as much hyping as a sloth does sprinting. they spend next to no money on edvertising, choosing to save money of channel four and almost no adds.

nintendo does't charge thet much, you fool! it costs little over five pounds to make a game, so 17-23 is the price they ask. the high street shops sell them for 15 pounds extra to meke their profit. I'm sure if the console companies sold their own games, then they would run almost all sellers out within matters of weeks.

This one made me laugh. The sheer wealth of incompetence coupled with a lack of understanding of even the most basic gaming concepts renders you worthy of the daily "stupid moronic imbecile" trophy. Hold it aloft and don't forget to reserve your place on the sunshine bus, you windowlicking freak.

Cherry, for someone with such an avid hatred towards the GBA, you seem to have a vast amount of experience playing games on it.

You stink of ambiguity.

That's funny you should say that because I would be hard pushed to find more than 16 colour on GBA's CM2, the colours are flat the graphics blocky, the fact remains the SNES Mario Kart look tons better than CM2 and also the pc original doom was also far superior to that of the GBA.

Then again who am I to stand in the way of Nintendo ripping the British public off with other hyped and artifically high game prices.

All I am saying is I wouldn't give GBA titles the shelf space at them sort of prices.

If you'd even been alive to see the graphics in the eighties, you wouldn't be making that comment. Graphics in the eighties were not only remarkably poor by GBA standards, but generally never surpassed about 16 colours.

I believe the GBA can do something in the region of 16 thousand colours.

Could it be that, once again, you don't have the slightest clue what you're talking about?

It's almost worth the effort coming into work to listen to you thrash around like a feral child.

Hmmm. GBA plus one game: £84

average GBA game price: £20-25. so GBA plus 10 games = £309

you can easilly add another 3-4 games to hit the 400 mark.

£400 + 10 games for a GB unadvanced sound like a lot of money to me and Nintendo users are getting ripped off again.

Come wake up have you seen Colin Mcrae 2 on the GBA it is terrible the colours are aweful and the graphics belong back in the late 80's before CM rally was ever heard of, they are so blocky.

£34.99 or even £29.99 is an absolute rip off price and to be honest the only way I would consider buying a GBA title was if they give the consumer a break and sold the titles for £4.99 which is a fair price for the quality you get.

I mean lets face it all PDA's and phones will have better screens and graphics than the GBA I think it's a poor effort from a 32bit machine.

Yes, let's completely ignore the fact that the GBA is outselling the PS2 almost 3 to 1.

The GBA is in no danger whatsoever.

This is like saying "PS2 could be overtaken by microwave ovens"

Downloading games on a palmtop or phone wouldn't be as much hassle as for big games on a PC. Game data sizes must be much smaller to fit PDA's and phone's. So downloading it shouldn't be so much of a problem. I think the 3g networks will support upto 2Mbs per second transfer.
