Anyone see '24' last night? It was on BBC2 at 10pm, and it was rather enjoyable.

The idea behind the show is that each episode will be one hour in the day, this week it was from midnight to 1am. I guess the series runs for the length of the day...

Anyway, as such you might expect it to be a little lacking in action, but no, they stuck plenty of angles in there. The story revolves around a possible plot to assasinate a senator, as he has a good chance of becoming President, but he's black.

So you got Kiefer Sutherland in there (looking somewhat doughy these days) as some kind of special agent (FBI? Maybe, don't remember, not important) starting to investigate this, only his daughrter has snuck out to go to some party, so you got him on the phone to his wife half of the time trying to figure out what's going on.

So yeah, it was interesting, plenty happened, Sutherland is cool.

I'll watch it next week.

I saw the trailer, which immediately showed me it looked rubbish.

"She said I love you. She never says that."

Conclusion: She's been kidnapped and we must immediately get worked up. Plus some guy who might be President is getting threats.

Shouldn't they be protecting the President instead of a wannabe-President? Seems dodgy to me. Blame Kiefer Sunderguy.

I missed this too. Saw five minutes of the second episode... enjoyed it, so I'm going to make a special effort to see hour/45mins or whatever 3.

I've always wanted to do something like this myself. Would be cool.

And in the second episode....

Kiefer Sutherland shot some people, and found out that one of the birds he works with is the 'dirty agent' that's trying to get a Presidential candidate killed.

And it turns out his daughter has been kidnapped, but we don't yet know why.

There are a couple of birds that have the ID of a photographer that someone has had plastic surgery to look like, as he's the one that's going to shoot the bloke, but the birds want to do stuff differently - again, they haven't gone far down this route yet, so I don't know exactly what was going on.

God I'm crap as explaining stuff.
