Ok, how do I do this? if you copy the complete source code from a website,, put it into notepad and save it, it saves in a .htm weird, just wondering if anyone knew how this was done as it normally just saves as .txt thanks in advance.

Ha ha ha, 'Microsoft Widows', ha ha ha. I wonder how many widows there are because of Microsoft? That dastardly Bill Gates will do ANYTHING to get ahead in business! Ha ha ha, 'widows'.

A DTD looks something like this :

In the top of an HTML document... Some text appz recognise this if pasted into it and will save as .htm

What version of widows are you using, and was there a DTD in the top of the HTML?

Are you sure it saves as .htm and not .htm.txt?

However, after 7 years, Microsoft might have realised that 95% of the time it's being used to write HTML and just popped something in to recognise tags. Unusually intuitive if them though.
