This week i bought...
Burnout: What a great game this is!! i had spent many hours considering then reconsidering getting this game cos what i had read about the replays spoiling the game a little, well in my opinion the replays are nice, and more often than not when you crash an opponent will crash into you so hardly any time is lost as a result... great game. (bought monday)
Eternal Darkness: Only played this for an hour so far but it really does look like a class game, im told it starts slow... well its been fine so far so if gets better then bring it on, im looking forward to a long session on this during sunday. (bought wednesday)
Turok: I enjoyed the original alot so despite some less than generous reviews of this game i went out and got it, slightly ropey graphics but the dinosaurs look great, controls havnt been half as bad as i was lead to believe they are either, looking like a good game already. (bought wednesday)
Timesplitters 2: WOW!! capture the bag is the best fun ive had since Unreal Tournament on the PC (in a mulitplayer FPS) deathmatch too... ive just completed level 1 of the story (Siberia) and despite being a little dissapointed with the graphics (sry but i was told it looked the dogs dangly bits) which are good but not great its the gameplay that hooked me, i got this game this today and havnt stopped playing it yet, its the best of the bunch ive bought this week and thats saying something considering the others are all great too... to miss TS2 is to miss out!
Thats my attempt to make myself feel better, well i think it worked, its been a while since i treated myself :)
*buy TS2... you will NOT regret it*
Anybody wanna trade (damn its a bug!)
I've never spent my own cash like that though.
I did have to sell quite a few of my used and completed DC games to help raise the cash for the GC games, i didnt have £120 burning a hole sadly :p
I was curious what the most extravagent purchase (gaming) anyone had made ie: most games bought in a week etc...
One Christmas, my dad bought my brother an £80 phone.
So....I got
Shogun Total War
Champ Man 01/02
Battle Of Britain
XCom Apocalypse
and about 5 books and a CD.
Not bad.
