No game has been polished up to be the best game we've ever played.
All the talk on graphics, plotlines and gameplay brings to mind there's been no game that's shown the ultimate game in history. Goldeneye came close but had too many bugs, Rare must of rushed it out to be released with the console, Zelda OoT came very close as well, with graphics like no other and a good plot. that's the very close there has been.
I meant to start this topic because there hasn't been a game that has really set alight the whole gaming world.
Zelda holds the crown to being closests to it but no other has reached the limit. A game may not be good after being in developement so long but a game that has been ironed out, written out, drawn out and directed by experts.
Perhaps the perfect game will come when game developers join together eg. Nintendo and Rare. What i'm trying to say is games haven't had attention to gameplay and plots.
They've used graphics as the main attraction. All we need is a game to have some good gameplay a gripping plot and great graphics.
People have tried doing that but have failed.
So when will we get the ultimate game. Maybe on a next gen machine or maybe in the coming months!
