YI - do what is right without hesitation. Unless we get Shenmue 3 on DC, Sega will not have obeyed YI (one of the four wude. If you don't know, play Shenmue 2).
What do people think?
IT AINT GONNA HAPPEN.
Hey Cartel, with the Xbox deals out now (1 XBox and 4 games - £199.99), BUY ONE!
I said elsewhere that I have played and completed the first two on the DC, and I feel that I have wasted all that time and effort because it will be impossible for me to finish the story if it is an X-Box exclusive, just like many other Shenmue fans.
Seriously, Microsoft own the rights to the game!!!!!! ITS NOT COMMING TO DREAMCAST!!!!!!!! NEVER........ EVER!
The petition is a waste of time.
Only 7 signatures since yesterday though, Liam, I think we need to make more people aware of this petition.
Because Microsoft have the rights to the game!!!!!! So its ONLY going to come out on their console. To be honest I would want Shenmue 3 on XBox cos I wanna see the game really pushed, I wanna see the XBox pushed. Im hoping when or IF Shenmue 3 is released on XBox I think it should be the best graphical looking game on XBox. Shenmue 3 on DC would have sooo much slow down and fade in, it would ruin the series. I believe that Shenmue 3 was to be intended for Segas next console until DC failed. But as I said, MS own the rights to that game, so the petition (I am afraid to say) is completely pointless, no matter how many signatures you get.
There is more chance of Halo comming to Dreamcast than Shenmue 3. We have to be realistic here! Shenmue 3 aint comming to DC I am afraid to say.

Interesting point there. I never thought of it that way. But in terms of Sega getting back on their feet, a multiformat release would be worth their while.
Shenmue games are special and unique... A truly fantastic experience.
I fear that by making it multi-format, like so-many-other games, it would only ruin it in the long-run.
But no matter what console it does come-out on, I'll have it in-time!
