Results from our weeklong training camp will be made available today, and that data will be thoroughly evaluated over the next few days. From that information, decisions will be made as to who will be offered developmental deals, or not.

Many of our superstars are in Asia as we speak, and thus far no problems have occurred and the tour has gone very smoothly. The Rock is working virtually all day promoting "The Scorpion King," while wrestling at night. The talents on this tour are an excellent group of citizens who will no doubt put forth great effort for our fans in Asia. Most will be involved on our live SmackDown! next Thursday in San Antonio but will not be booked for the house shows following SmackDown! Tough schedule.

I encourage you to get your hands on a videotape of Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) or Heartland Wrestling Association (HWA), as most fans will enjoy watching these old-school programs. OVW tapes are selling very well from what I am told.

Plans to separate the roster into exclusive RAW and SmackDown! talents are beginning to take shape. This will absolutely afford more talents the opportunity to shine on these broadcasts as time goes on. These separate rosters will be a good thing for many deserving young talents.

The Tough Enough 2 instructors will all be factored back into the mix in the upcoming weeks. The Tough Enough 2 casting special Thursday night on MTV was an excellent broadcast. I think you will agree that we have selected several outstanding athletes for this season's program. No, that was not Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid on the show; it was the World Wrestling Federation's John "Big" Gaburick, the hardworking caretaker of the Tough Enough kids who does a superb job on this show. It's really heartbreaking to see some of these kids who did not make the cut. Hopefully, many of them will not give up on their dream of being in the Federation. The ones that are destined to be in the business will keep working to succeed. Their journey is not over if they choose for it not to be.

Yours truly received a signed Chicago Bears game jersey from star linebacker Brian Urlacher, No. 54, that I really appreciate. He may be the next Butkus-type linebacker to play for the Monsters of the Midway, and Brian is a big Federation fan. A class act too.

Jazz had a strong week of TV and is really settling in well on our roster. She is legitimately one tough lady.

Hollywood Hogan and a writer are working on Hogan's biography, to be released later this year.

Jerry "The King" Lawler will also start working on a book on his colorful career that will be released after the Hogan book, late this year or early next year. This one should be a beaut, too.

The Sultan of Brunei is scheduled to attend our Malaysia event with a rather large group of guests. Well-known Japanese writer/wrestling personality Wally Yamaguchi will referee a match at our Yokohama event.

Rikishi will face Hollywood Hogan tonight at the Sun Dome in Tampa in Hogan's first Federation match in years.

The Ric Flair-Undertaker issue is really heating up, especially after the Arn Anderson incident on RAW this week. I'm liking the buildup to this situation more and more each week.

The Federation has booked a June date in Honolulu that should be great for all involved. I hope I'm booked on that run.

Pat Patterson, Fit Finlay and Dean Malenko are the road agents for the Asia tour, which means the in-ring product should be very solid. Many of the Federation personnel will stay in Texas after Monday's RAW to prepare for Thursday's SmackDown!, which means we eat more BBQ next week, which is damn sure a good thing.

I sure have seen a lot of Rob Van Dam foam hands and T-shirts lately, as the man with the educated feet prepares to wrestle William Regal for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania X8. It's hard to believe WrestleMania is only two weeks away. We are all looking forward to visiting Toronto for the big event and FAN AXXESS. Most talents will arrive in Toronto on Wednesday, March 13.

Raven has been doing a great job in Cincinnati, wrestling and working behind the scenes on the HWA show.

Many unbooked talents will spend most of March in Cincy keeping their skills sharp. Their efforts and commitment to the product are not overlooked.

I hope we get to see Shawn Michaels while we are in San Antonio. I am a big believer that HBK can still contribute in a significant way to our programs. Nothing is etched in stone, but I can sure see Michaels as a viable part of one of our primary broadcasts after the rosters split in two. His verbal skills are unaffected due to his back injury and -- who knows? -- maybe HBK can still be physical in the proper environment.

Aside from the normal day-to-day issues we always deal with, the attitude in our locker room has been very positive overall.

Val Venis has looked great in recent outings.

The Diamond Dallas Page-Christian interaction is a nice addition to our broadcasts, and both talents are up for advancing their individual careers. I like where this is going for both men.

Mr. Perfect is beginning to get his legs under him and will begin to contribute more in the upcoming weeks. The pace our talents perform at is a tough adjustment for anyone to make, especially talents that have been off work for any significant length of time.

Goldust has become more aggressive, and that works much better for him.

Triple H and Kurt Angle have been having some classic matches in recent house shows. What a pair of thoroughbreds.

If Billy and Chuck can stay focused on their in-ring work, this duo can become an excellent team. I'm not sure, however, why I should dislike their TV personas. That certainly doesn't mean I'm right about that matter either.

X-Pac returns to the road this week, beginning tonight in Tampa versus Spike Dudley.

Nidia's first OVW match is coming up soon. Her buildup there has been well done.

Sorry to hear of the recent passing of Nelson Royal and Swede Hanson, two great stars who entertained fans around the world for many years.

I knew Nellie very well from his days in Oklahoma as the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion. He was a very sound mechanic who always stayed in great physical condition. Both were very successful in the old Crockett Mid-Atlantic territory.
Congratulations are in order for Mark Henry, who won the Arnold Strongman Challenge
recently in Columbus, Ohio. Mark will no doubt pay everyone a visit this Monday in Austin, Texas, where he lives.

I don't expect the Oklahoma Sooner fight song, Boomer Sooner, to be well received Monday night in Austin when yours truly comes out to do RAW. The Red River rivalry will never die, thank goodness!

The Federation television crew did an excellent job with the Hogan video on SmackDown! Our creative group did a fine job with the backstage content on our shows this week. Because of the subjective nature of their job, this group has a tough time catching a break it seems to me, but they sure keep trying. I would not want to attempt their job, that's for sure. My hat's off to them.

I look for Torrie Wilson to get more involved in a storyline in upcoming weeks.

Maven had a good outing with Goldust on SmackDown! and continues to work hard in HWA attempting to learn his craft. I am impressed with Maven's overall attitude and respect for the business. He has a long way to go, but he is getting there.

I get amused at the reports of occasional unrest with some of our developmental talents as it relates to their tenure in HWA or OVW and when they are going to get their big break. These talents do not know how good they have it, based on the long history of our business and the dues that have been paid by those before them. The potential rewards for those who make it are well worth the efforts being put forth now while they learn the business. The business owes none of us anything, and I've always looked at being a part of sports entertainment as an honor and a privilege not meant for everyone.

Take care and I hope to see you back here next week. See you Monday night live from the University of Texas for RAW on the new TNN. Thanks ...

Why would SR mind, it means we spend more time on their chatforums than we do on WWF.com.
