one of the main reasons i want a xbox for christmas is because of this game but a couple of questions i have:
1) when is it out ?
2) is it only for xbox live ?
or is it possible to play this game not on the internet ?

1) Dont know but dont expect it to be released till 2003 sometime.
2) No if its like the PC version it will have the single player game. XBox Live enabled games are still single player games, the only difference is that the multi-player game can be played online. So for example Ghost Recon has its single player levels and then it has multi-player modes which can be played online. So if you didnt have XBox Live you would still have the single player, split screen and link up to use. But if you have XBox Live you get all of those plus online gaming.

To be honest, it could be long time before this game is released on Xbox, as EA will have to get rid of all the bugs, which will probably entail almost a complete re-write, as it was a bloated resource lag machine on PC
