Why bother buying a 'Next Generation' console when you could stick with your old console. Take PS1 for exaple. Its basically the same as the original playstation but smaller. It even costs the same price as an original playstation. Also, nothings really been said about this gamecube. Gamecube? That sounds rubbish, dolphin sounds much better. They actually took the playstation name if you think about it. A station which you play with, playstation. A cube you play games on, Gamecube. Why don't sony sue nintendo for something called Copyright.
So, by your logic, a Playstation looks like a train station. Or perhaps a space station? I must have missed that one in Babylon 5...
Yes, PS1 is a re-badged Playstation, but
a) it's smaller so it's more portable
b) it can attach to some mobile phones
c) it has other extra features soon to be released (i.e. the lcd screen)
d) Didn't you know that Sony have made the original Playstations lasers so that they should now be ready to start making the games skip or not reading them at all. I'm not saying this out of anger, just because mine has started doing this, oh no. Not at all!
Gamecube deserves to be big because it's Nintendo (who's only fault is to not listen to their customers in Europe) and nintendo games are original and addictive. Just like Sony and Segas, oh and Microsoft's too. Have I satified everyone? Oh, and it was a shame about Atari.
