I'm sitting here watching a repeat of The Grammys and it's so nice to see different types of musicians performing together.
I know it's done regularly and i appreciate that, but i can't help thinking it's just for show.Or is it just the music fans that cause the great divide.
Why does liking a certain 'type' of music make you become a certain 'type' of person?
I used to only really listen to rock and metal and was frowned upon by people who only listened to chart music,so i became defensive and disliked all people who liked chart stuff.
I'm now much more diverse with my music tastes, still love rock and metal but now i listen to chart, country, classical well almost anything, and to be honest i feel better for it.
I just wish that people would not keep fighting over what music is best!
Peace.

I watched that for about a minute, and saw Steve Vai, Nelly Furtado and Craig David on the stage together. Certainly a mixture, although Vai has always been fairly..variable..

Good point, mate.

Why is it that people who like rock, punk or alternative music are ALWAYS referred to as "moschas"? (dunno if I spelt that right)?

I only turned to that kind of music because most of it matched my real-life depression, which was caused by people in the first place.

And who gives a flying flamingo what kind of music people listen to? If we all listened to the same thing ALL the time, we wouldn't be individuals.

Screw them, that's what I say.

"If I were to rule over this world, imagine the terror that would unfold."

Brilliant! As usual the careful and intuitive production that Freeola puts into everything it sets out to do. I am delighted.
Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
