There are many games we didn't get the chance to play being as they weren't released over here and hopefully now we may get the chance. I would love to play some of my older games as well again, perhaps with more enhanced graphics, (Secret of Mana) and I would love to get the chance to play Secret of Mana 2 which never made it over here. So with the news that a couple of older games are set to return we all must have our fingers crossed as we hope we see many games return. What games are you wishing to see again with better graphics?
The other part is to do with translation. This, however, does not excuse the games that the Americans get but we don't. Again that can be down to what sells well, too many NFL games would not sell half as well in the UK.
Portable systems like Gameboy Advance and WonderSwan should be compatable the world over (bar language problems) and ordering Japanese games would not be difficult. Actually, if you own certain import Action Replay cartridges for the Playstation/Dreamcast or N64 then you can play all those import games straight away (assuming your TV can show 60khz) But I guess everyone already knew that?!
