What does the immediate future hold?
What do people think the Playstation 2 seems to have a lot of problems when it comes to Games. At the end of the day that is what it is designed for and it seems to have neglected this area a bit, after seeing the launch games there are about 3 games that interest me in the first 6 months, (The Bouncer, Gran Turismo 3, ISS) so have SOny neglected this area? The GameCube and Dreamcast seem to be perfect for games, but they don't have the advertising know how to tell people about there great products. All we hear are the reporters belittling the DC and saying how great the PS2 is. So what is the immediate future, could it be X-Box? They have signed Konami and it appears they have signed Square as well. Perhaps they are ready to take the mantle from the Playstation as the best GAMES machine. I would have hoped the GameCube could elevate Nintendo back to the top.
