I know someone who replaces the hard drive and allows you to either download the games from the net or just copy games to the hard drive for you to play...
You can't play Xbox live if you do that though!

iz dis ur scnd attmpt @ GAD.. if it iz ur on2 a winna dEfin@ly
to me people who have pirate console games are normally sad idiots that go and find all the cheats to finish the game the same day they brought it too.
it's not like there that exspensive, i'd rather have a manual and a nice cover as well plus the abilty to use the game online.
"Gamecube is crap, you can't even copy the games on it"
Has anybody managed to copy games on it yet or is it the last one to be cracked?

I think GC will probably be the last one to be cracked. I remember when the Dream Cast had the 1GB disks people copied them onto 700mb normal CD's by extracting stuff from the game, like cut scenes e.t.c. The Dream Cast was easily cracked, as you didnt even need a chip, some games were also self booting.
The GC has 1.5 GB disks so I doubt that anyone has a copier for this kind of disc. The normal 8cm CD's will fit into the GC but at 200mb that is 1.3GB short of what is needed. I hope that the GC is the first console to be copy proof, hopefully the next gen consoles will also be pirate proof. Pirating costs the games industry billions each year, we are paying for it as the games compainies need to make that money back some how, good job SR sell games cheaper :).
