just wondered if anyone could help me, im going to ireland (eire, not norther ireland) over christmas and just wondered if anyone knows whether the prices of games or periphrals over there would be any cheaper? with the exchange rate of the pound against the euro will i be able to save some money if i pick up some stuff over there, or are they pretty much priced the same as here?
Well, like anywhere you go it depends where you shop. Most cities in Ireland (there are about 4!) you have english owned game shops (eg. Gamesworld, EB and Game etc...) so the prices are much the same as across the irish sea. But games in Galway (where I live) are released at €60 and thats about £35 I think. I often hear of games coming out at £40/45 in England and think 'thats crazy!'. But I guess, game shops are bigger and better in England so...
I don't know, in some shops games/peripherals will be cheaper and in others they will me more expensive (DUH!).
