Gone?
Ok, I'll carry on.
Pretty boring seesion, to be honest. The weather didn't really help. Well, it helped the Ferrari's, especially Barrichello, giving him the second pole of his career, only 0.005 of a second ahead of Big Schuey.
The big loser due to te weather was Montoya, he's faster than 6th, definately.
The McLarens can't be too impressed. Ferrari beat them with last years car, and it looks like Williams will be serious challenge this season as well.
Full top 6 look like this:
1 BARRICHELLO Ferrari 1m25.843s
2 M.SCHUMACHER Ferrari 1m25.848s
3 R.SCHUMACHER Williams BMW 1m26.279s
4 COULTHARD McLaren Mercedes 1m26.446s
5 RAIKKONEN McLaren Mercedes 1m27.161s
6 MONTOYA Williams BMW 1m27.249s
Renault did better than I expected, Trulli 7th and Button 11th. Certainly better than last season when they seemed to be at the back for most races.
Fisichella is 8th in the Jordan, Sato couldn't get a lap in due to problems, and the weather, but he's been allowed to start, 22nd.
BAR werr 12th and 13th, Panis out qualifying Villeneuve, again.
I won't go through all the rest, but it's good to see Toyota in 14th (Salo) and 16th (McNish), I thought they'd be at the back, to be honest.
So there you go, first session of the year out the way. Let's just hope the race is a little more exciting.
I don't think everyone did their fastest lap. Barrichello was probably the closest to his fastest lap.
