Could this be it? Sega splitting and joining Nintendo. Well there are so many roumours going around but at least there is some basis to this one. Nintendo may not get 100% of Sega, the sporting games dev may go to Sony. There is also rumour of some sort of mega merger between Sega/Capcom/ninendo.
This could also explain MS's latest software XBOX bundle, perhaps they felt the need to offload all of SEGA's games.

I wish Nintendo would hurry up and announce their Megaton thingy. I'm dieing with anticipation. I bet it turns out to be a new Pokemon game or something similarily un amazing.

I'm not expecting much from this announcement, so hopefully I'll be surprised.

Silicon Knights, for instance, said we might see what they were working on before Xmas, so maybe it's a glut of new games for next year?

Hmm an interesting point. I am however still not convinced that Sega would sell even a part of themselves to Ninto (or anyone else for that matter) i think that Sega are being clever here and gaining the gamers respect and following with multi-console releases for a couple of years and then release another nex-gen console depsite them saying that they wouldnt do so, that isnt such a crazy idea after all.
I think the X-box is shipping with both Sega GT and Jet set cos they are both great games and when a console gets sold with a bundle theres usually always a racing title in there somewhere (hence Sega GT).
