My mum left for the Isle of Wight on Sunday for a week with those old people who go on coach holidays. Her mp3 player is playing up so I lent her my Samsung 2GB one so she could listen to all her songs. She just called me a few minutes ago to say she couldnt find it earlier and that someone might have stolen it. :(

It cost me £70 from Amazon, or should I say it cost Freeola £70. She'll have another look for it later but of course it was the only thing worth stealing from her suitcase.

:( my poor litle mp3 player. I hope she finds it when she gets back, I really needed it to help me with my language learning. It's the only expensive thing I have too. *sigh*

Do you think Freeola will get me a new one if I ask? Who am I kidding :(

Anyone else had something of theirs stolen while on holiday?

I had my bike stolen a while ago.
I can't afford to replace it.

Now I have to walk 45 minutes each way to get to and from work.

Only occasionally do I think about the lowlife pr*** and all the time I'm wasting because of him.

I wonder how far I'd go in retaliation, given the opportunity.
I'd probably go too far, but man, I'd love to take a baseball bat to the ***tard's face.

I had my lunch stolen once while I was in an art class in school. I feel a bit sorry for the thief because I had some horrible sandwiches that day.

I also had my car stereo nicked which annoyed me a lot because it was a relly flash expensive one. Thats probably why it was nicked though so its my fault for showing off. It taught me that flash stuff isnt all its cracked up to be.

Yeah she couldnt find it, I think she said she kept it in one of the draws. The hotel said they had 2 new cleaning girls and it looks like one of them has pinched it. So now she has to get in touch with the police and file a report. That's the first step to claiming on insurance. How annoying. So what the cleaning girls are going back to the scene of the crime tomorrow to clean up the room?

Yes she did mention that so I gave her a description. But the only person who could have stolen it was one of the maids. But why would they do that? They'd get caught easily as the hotel knows who does what rooms.

I guess it's just all the hassle, so I'm hoping she just misplaced it and she'll find it later.

Did your mum have any travel insurance? She could claim for it on that if so...
