Can you imagine life without TV??
If so, what would you be doing instead???
How would you keep youself occupied during those boring, slow and lazy rainy days???

Face it - you just simply couldn't live for even one day without a TV in your house, even if there was only one channel, you'd still watch it!!

I bet that many of you thought that if there was no TV then you'd go and play on a console or computer game!
But how would you do this if TV was not around??
Consoles may not even exist in a TV-free world, as you'd have nothing to view games on! I suppose that you could use one of those tiny PSOne/GameCube LCD screens, but that really is just too small!

Think of all the things we'd miss out on, without TV...
It could actually be a good thing!

Hardly anyone would still be sat around watching 'the tube' 24-7, and we'd all probably be out more, getting exercise, and Americans probably wouldn't be so big!

Bu then again...

We probably wouldn't know half the stuff we know about life today as we do now. I honesty don't think anyone would be able to sit there listening to a radio for hours on end!
We'd all be dead boring, as we'd probably have nothing to talk about with other people!
There'd also be no films or cinemas. So there'd be nowhere that you could just simply take you 'special friend' to!
Do you honestly believe that we'd all enjoy going out to the opera, or going to watch some kind of play or panto.??

So as you can see, TV does play a big part of our lives nowadays, and it's becoming something that our lives depend on!

Even though there are benefits of having no TV, there are also big downsides that would reduce our lives to boredom, but maybe not as bad as the life of a Couch Potato!

Couch Potatoes are what many of today's people have become!
What's the first thing you do when you get home from work, school, or anywhere?? Turn on the TV!
And even if there's nothing on you just spend and hour or so searching through hundreds of channels, waiting for something to appear that actually interests you!

Today's world really is becoming LAZY! And TV plays a big part in making that a reality!
I think we should all definitlety try to watch less TV, that's the least we can do to save ourselves!
You could go without TV for a week maybe, taking it a day at a time. And then, if you felt more comfortable, you could go even further and maybe go on for 2 weeks, or even a whole month without TV!!

In one of my classes at school, our teacher asked us to go without watching the TV for one whole week. Some of us accepted, but the majority of us, including myself, just laughed at the idea, and said it's impossible!

This week was the week, and next week, the people who actually took part will have to say what they did instead during their free time. Before this started, some people immediatly said they'd go and play their PC, or do something else that invloved electronics!
So far, I think that almost everyone who took part has admitted that they've already watched TV, at least once!
They say that it's too hard to resist, and that they switch on a TV when they get home from school without even thinking! So I think they all fail.
Do you honestly think you could alst a whole week without TV???

Let's face it, we need TV! It's a huge part of our lives, and we'd be living like cavemen if TV's were never invented!

That's enough said from me, I think i'll go watch some TV now!

Life without Tv would be...

A: Energetic witch don't sound too good for all those fat things that eat themselves to death ( no offense )
B: A lot more sport.
C: Everyone outside, peering thru ya window looking for sumthin to do.

It's kind of both really. We are so bloody lazy that out lives virtually depend on TV every day.
But if we couldn't watch TV, then we'd also have nothing else as remotely interesting and dull to do - like using a computer!

I don't think we'd have PC's either!
Monitors aren't exactly TV's but they do work similarly, and the technology is very similar.
So if they hadn't discovered the technology for TV's then I wouldn't be typing this right now!
