“5…4…3…2…1…BOOM!!” Certainly not a raucous response for Chris Jericho (Scott Giles), as the crowd boo and jeer as he cockily makes his way to the ring (two people are seen cheering wildly, believed to be Ant and Cong Man). Oh no, look! A full bottle of Diet Coke was just thrown at his head! Thankfully, like the true professional that he is, he carries on like nothing has happened. What a guy.

(HBK’s music hits) A massive pop as the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels (Longy) struts to the squared circle for this one-on-one match, which is all about pride!

As the bell rings the two men circle each-other, both have very similar styles and shapes so this should be an interesting bout. They lock-up, Jericho getting the upper-hand and putting HBK in a Side-headlock. For once he’s not thrown into the ropes by his opponent, but manages to nail an early Bulldog! Jericho drops his elbow right into the midsection of HBK, and then heads to the second rope. Missile dropkick! Jericho is on fire early in the match.

Jericho (Scott Giles) picks him and whips him into the turnbuckle, following it up with a hard clothesline! As HBK (Longy) staggers up, Jericho sets him up for a Karate Kick to the face-WHAM!! He gets it, and Shawn Michaels is knocked to the canvas again. Jericho wants to end this one quickly, and he looks for the Lionsault-but HBK scrambles out of the way, leaving Jericho to land athletically on his feet. However he is met by a dropkick from HBK, his first offence of the match.

HBK picks him up the hair, and sets him up for an overhead suplex. He executes it perfectly, and now he grabs Jericho’s left leg, it looks as though he’s going for the Figure 4…he can’t seem to lock it in, Jericho is desperately trying to fight out of it, and then with great skill leans forward and pulls Michaels over him into a roll-up, 1…kick-out! They both leap to their feet, HBK being the quickest and scoring with a harsh knee to the face.

Jericho (Scott Giles) tries to crawl out of the ring but HBK (Longy) is having none of it, and he keeps hold of Jericho’s left leg. Jericho is standing on one foot, he goes for an Enziguri, but HBK ducks and nails a Roundhouse Kick! He goes for the Figure 4 again, and this time locks it in perfectly! Jericho looks too far away from the ropes, he’s squirming desperately but he just can’t reach! It could be over right here, as Jericho beckons the referee towards him-and shoves him over! The ref, who happens to be Nick Patrick (Hybrid Valves), lands right on top of HBK who was stretched out and looking for extra leverage! Michaels doubles over, winded, and Jericho somehow escapes!

Both men are up and Jericho looks very groggy, but he’s battling it out as the two exchange right-hands. He’s whipped into the ropes, and then he slides between HBK’s legs, jumps up and executes a textbook Backdrop Suplex! Jeriicho viciously stomps on HBK, especially on his right arm! He picks him up by the hair and once again goes to work on the arm, hitting it and wrenching it over his head. He nails a Booker T-style Sidekick, and then locks in an Armbar. Jericho (Scott Giles) is giving us an excellent display of technical and tactical skill, as it looks like HBK might be the one to tap.

It looks like Jericho (Scott Giles) wants to finish it with style though, and he drops the arm and locks in a perfect Walls Of Jericho, right in the centre of the ring! HBK (Longy) has no chance here, he must tap! Yes, he does, perhaps deciding this is not a match worth risking his health over! Jericho is victorious, and he celebrates a well-won match, in which he proved why he came so close to winning the WWF Forum Championship in the HIAC Match at Burnout.

The winner of this match, Chris Jericho (Scott Giles).

Thanks for reading, Ant.

PS-The bottle that was thrown at Y2J (Scott) as he made his entrance was later confirmed as the property of Ice Blaster. This man has 2 days ago escaped from the local mental asylum where he had been situated for the past few years, and had somehow made his way into the WWF Forum event. His mental unstableness was proved when he gormlessly told government officials, “but Austin and Rock are better wrestlers than Jericho!”
Thankfully, this madman is now back in the asylum until further notice.

Phew, I'm glad I got that right. :D

Although I've never seen HBK wrestle, I was pretty sure they both had the same styles.

I made this match for one obvious reason. Y2J is being marketed as the new HBK. No matter how much people insits that Jericho is poo and HBK is a legend. Their ring styles are virtually indistinguishable. Watch some old HBK tapes, you will see that I am right.

It's been a while since Shawn Michaels was in the WWF, so I haven't seen him wrestle either, still a good match though.

Sorry that it's a bit shorter, this is for 2 reasons. One, I wrote a slightly longer one last night and then forgot to save it, annoyingly enough.

I also wanted a match with just in-ring stuff, and I've never seen Shawn Michaels wrestle before so that made it a little harder.

No excuses though. {:)
