My boyfriends brother built me a computer and put windows xp perfosenol on it but i find that certain games i play crash and restart the computer and it wont install simcity 3000. so is it my computer or windows xp have you had ne problems with it?????

You could try installing sim city 300 using the compatability wizard.
If i remember correctly it should be located on the start menu under accesories/sytem tools.
when it starts point it to you CD drive containing simcity and istruct it to intall as windows 98.
The other option and more likely if you are getting issues with more than one game is to go to the windows update site and see if the have any certified drivers for your graphics card and sound card.

i've got windows xp and had no problems with games it maybe just windows xp though cause it has compatabilty issues with games and programs
