Ah, so far, the Wrestlemania X-8 line up of matches looks, let's say, errr, dull.
Yes, there is Hogan vs Rock which could be great if it wasn't going to get spoiled by a member of the nWo, most probably Nash, who will interfere and cost Rock the match. That is my thought for that match though, you may thing differently.
There is Hall vs Austin, and no offence to the 2 of them, but I have a feeling this will be a downright boring match. Both men won't do high flying (most definetly not) and it will end up with a victory for Austin, who will defeat the other nWo members who will try to get into the ring and as I said, claim a victory.
There is the APA vs Chuck and Billy. A potentially good match..... if it weren't for the fact that Chucky and Billy will either cheat to win, or lose. This match is ruined by the fact that they are just like Edge and Christian were when they were defending their Tag Titles against the APA. Cowardly fools! Match ruined I says.
Regal vs Rob Van Dam might be a good match. It depends on how the WWF will mix the 2 different styles of each of these guys. It all depends, I can't sya too much about this. It could be a great match, but we'll have to wait and see.
Now, Jericho vs Triple H. This will be good. I don't care what it said about it, and I know I really don't like Jericho, but this match will live up to what it is meant to be, great! The last encounter between these 2 was in a Last Man Standing match at Fully Loaded 2000 and Triple H just won it, but that point is, the match could be just like that. It ruled! It's a pity Stephanie will interfere and spoil it....
Now, back to what this topic is actually about. I don't think that any of the matches that are lined up for Wrestlemania so far actually look and good. Well, they may look good, but from what has been showing lately, they will all be rubbish. So..... we need to add, a 4 corner Tag match, a Hardcore Title Battle Royal, (4 normal teams) a TLC match (Hardyz vs Dudleyz) and a few Light Heavywieghts.
C'mon WWF, give us a better Wrestlemania for all!

I think they want Raven to do some more house shows to sharpen up his skills before returning to the big stage.
What Wrestlemania needs is good matches. If the wrestlers wrestle well the matches will be good. If you constantly think about what matches you want to see you won't be able to enjoy what actually happens. Count yourself lucky I don't have Sky Sports 1, I will miss Wrestlemania.
If the WWF can bring back Hurricane, Palumbo, Dudleyz, Christian, Test, Regal and many others then why not Raven?

Regal won't take any of the crazy stuff RVD will want to do to him, and RVD will end up breaking Regal's nose, severely hampering what Regal can do in the rest of the match
And Regal will work stiff on RVD (meaning the moves/punches etc are hard enough to hurt) to teach RVD a lesson for busting his nose
All this adds up to a potentially TERRIBLE match

Well at least we will have our best IC champion in a while as RVD is definitely going to beat Regal.
I think wrestlemania will be great, it's different to what we all expected though at least.
Rock V Hulk, being set up to be quite a classic, two of the biggest stars in and out of the ring are set to tie up, yeah I can see interference from the nWo and Hulk ultimately winning but it should be quite good at least. The only thing I'm hoping for here is some more hype, Rock may not even be back until the match itself! The Rock should return on a Raw before WM18 to cut another promo with Hulk and the nWo.
Austin V Hall, apparently Hall has been getting a bad reputation from backstage shenanigans and some say that Hall may not even make it to wrestlemania! (That's why Nash dosn't have a match yet so he can take Hall's place if the worse comes to the worse, but you knew that right?) Anyway the match will be as you said Afro pretty dull and boring with a few "What?" chants thrown in, something could come of it but I see Austin winning and beating off the nWo single handedly because he's well in with Vince Mcmahon and dosn't like loosing. (Why was they all scared of him but happily teamed up on the Rock eh? Exactly) The PPV is for four hours long so this one may be dragged out, hopefully something good storyline wise will happen.
Triple H V Jericho, Kurt Angle will be thrown in for good measure too, I see a great match in the works here, triple threats are always good and exciting a bit of double teaming by Kurt and Y2J but we all know it won't last. Maybe a No DQ stipulation added like usual? I see Triple H winning here and also start bleeding like usual. :0)
Flair V Undertaker, okay so it's not confirmed (I havn't read Raw or Smackdown results yet so don't say anything) but we all know it will happen, the storyline should be good but I can't see either of these men taking any decent bumps from one another so I think maybe there will be some sort of street fight stipulation added so it pans the full time of the match without us all falling off to sleep or nipping off to make a bite to eat.

No one predicted these two teams to face it off, should be good, both teams should put up a nice action packed match, Chuck and Billy try to cheat but the APA overcoming it maybe? We will have to see, people like their favourite teams to win at WM so I see it going the Acolytes way.
RVD V Regal, excellent two unarthadox wrestlers going at it, RVD to win? Hope so we could see a brass nucks job though. I will like this match I just know it, action packed all the way.
Other mathes, Hardys V Dudleys is rumoured, some stipulation will be added there, these teams are known for putting on a good show, will be good, Edge I'm not too bothered about (He seemed better in his old E&C tag team). Christian to return and interfere somewhere and do.... something, let's also hope Tajiri is in it as well as some Womens title match.
I want to see more stipulations added, a very suprising Wrestlemania all the same, should be and could be good although the accompning music seems like a bunch of heavy metal scream down the microphone with no real talent wannabe rockers getting indeserved publicity. Which sucks. I hope I'm proved wrong there though.
Also on a final note I'm looking for an angle to be set up for the upcoming roster split. Lets all hope Raven returns eh?
