But just one lot of super games isn't enough, which is why theres a whole pile of games in development now ready for this year and the following years, 'cause the Xbox is here to stay whether you like it or not.
Post here what your five (or whatever) most anticipated second generation games are, and why if you feel like it, not stuff like Buffy and Wreckless, I mean those games that are still a good five or so months away.
To get us started, and ease some boredom before Friends and ER on E4, heres mine - no laugning.
1. Battleship Aquila - stunning, better than Halo visuals meets mech action and space battles, not much info on this one yet but the screenshots that are out there are stunning. Hell, its breathtaking and if the gameplay can match the visuals......
2. Medal Of Honour Allied Assault - Yes, unlike our PS2 chums *cough* we're getting this game. I've got it on PC but even on a 1ghz Geforce 3 its a pain, yes I could upgrade but the Xbox version is a hell of a lot cheaper and hopefully the bad guys wont sink into the floor.....oops. Those that are yet to know this games delights are in for a treat, though the D Day level may disappoint, the other levels make up for it.
3. Dino Crisis 3 - Bizarre plot - Dinosaurs on a space station - but Xclusive. Need I say more ?
4. Lord Of The Rings - yes its multiformat, and it may well be as "wonderful2 as Harry Potter's game, but theres a kernel of a chance that it'll be ace, and if it is Xbox owners will see it the way it was meant to be.
5. A tie here - Ghost Recon(another PC fave ruined by stupidly high specs and bugs) and................the Britney Spears game, its something different okay, and I liked that Euromix thing for PSONE........I'm beyond help I know....:)
1. Unreal Championship - no need for a description.
2. Medal Of Honour Allied Assault - again, no need for a
description.
3. Tekkie - Mech title by Capcom. Kind of a mech simulator
with you being in the cockpit as you battle. Apparently
a special controller could be put with this game. Only
one snag, will it escape the boundaries of Japan.
4. Bruce Lee - Take control of Brucie baby in a scrolling
beat em up. Looking damn good so far with some
excellent graphical detail ! From what I know you get
to learn various martial arts as you go through the
game. :-)
5. Black & White - The PC god game, only apparently with
a few changes put in and hopefully online options. :-)
