Hi

I recently found out that my local exchange will be opened of for the ISP "Be" for ADSL2+ (LLU).
I'm very happy with Freeola, but currently I'm getting a downstream speed of around 4mbps, and would love to get more.

Is there a way of staying with Freeola but getting the speed of the ADSL2+?

Thanks

Dan.

Unfortunately until BT's 21st Century Network initiative comes online we will be restricted to a maximum of 8 mbps. If you are receiving 4MB at the moment it is unlikely that your line will be able to receive 24MBps from Be, though it is possible that the new technology would allow you to increase your speed by at least some amount.

More information on BT's plans can be found here.

Cool, thanks for the info, 2008 / 2010 isn't so far away.

Cheers.
