Have you seen the amount of great games coming out in the next few months?
That’s right, there are loads of great games, and even two brand new consoles, the Xbox and the Gamecube.
That’s all well and good you think. But what about those gamers that are rather less fortunate than yourselves? In feeding their addiction, many young people are neglecting the basic human necessities such as food and water because all their money goes on video games.
We here at GIN are asking you to sponsor a gamer.
Give a gamer £30, and he/she can enjoy a game for a week.
Give a gamer £150, and he/she can enjoy numerous games for months.
Those gamers can then spend other money on useful items like food, drink and memory cards.
Meet JoeX, 24 from London.
“I play games all day. I’m addicted to them, and spend little time doing anything else. Most days I don’t have enough money to buy my cigarettes. I need more money to feed this expensive habit. I’m dreading the release of Xbox & Gamecube because they’re gonna make me even more broke.”
Meet Solid Snake, 23 from Liverpool.
“I right addicted to these games, no what I mean? I even changed me name by deed poll in admiration of that geezer out of Metal Gear Solid. I once ended up in hospital after I forgot to eat, drink and sleep because of this addiction.”
There are thousands more gamers like Joe and Solid across Britain who are suffering and in need of more money to buy all these great games that are being released every week. Without your help, many might suffer unnecessarily in waiting to afford these games.
We here at GIN would be grateful of any donations to this most worthy of charities. Please spare as much or as little as you can and help us “help a gamer in need”.

GIN doesn't really exist (unless it's in a bottle in a wino's hand)
> Yeah, I don't have enough money to buy games but where's my parade?
Well then, you are a Gamer In Need. If we get enough donations you could benefit from this worthy charity.
Actually, I don't want to give money but you could send me £10 for reading it. :D
Sheesh, you guys are a tight-fisted bunch ;). Think of all those poor gamers who can't afford all the great games that are coming out.
Imagine the look on their little faces when they can't buy MGS2 because they need to buy food instead.
