and I certainly can't blame Wycleff Jean for writing that lyric, because right now i feel like getting on a plane and buggering off to Mexico just to catch some decent Luchadors in action. Another song lyric goes 'You don't know what you've got till it's gone' and this has certainly been true of the unfortunate demise of WCW, as I was never that sad to see it go. Until now as I am left craving the fdare-devil action that their cruiser-weight division brought to my TV screen. Crash Holly is not a good cruiser-weight. X-Pac isn't as good as he was. Tajiri is good, but isn't by any mean the kind of cruiserweight i want to see. I want to see Jerry Lynn (thanks for nothing WWF). I want to see Rey Mysterio, hell i'd even settle for Juventud Gurrera right now. I want to see suicide dives over the top rope. I want to see somersalt planchás. I want Super Crazy. I want Kid Kash. I want Nova. I want to see some Mexican in a mask leaping around the ring semingly making up moves as he goes along. I probably miss the high-flying suicidle matches from ECW more than I miss the real hardcore stuff they put on. What I don't want is to see a second rate Sabu copist named Jeff Hardy being called 'innovative' when every move he supposedly 'invents' has been done before by eith Sabu or Nova. C'mon WWF give me what I want or I'm off to Mexico.

I always thought X-Pac was more of a personality than a wrestler, but then he always seemed to be injured since I began watching.

didn't la parka used to wrestle in the cruiserweight divison for a while even though he about 280 pounds? that was the only thing good about WCW though and the WWF needs to bring them all in to actually inject some life into it. forget about bringing dead weights like hogan, flair, mr perfect, goldust, godfather and val venis etc let's bring all these guys the original poster mentioned and see some action on our screens again

That was the only bit I liked about the WCW.

WWF.com doesn't even recognise Tajiri as Cruiserweight Champion!

Yes i liked that too MikeAll. The High Flying Suicidle Dives. The closest we ever got to that is when Essa Rios came, but no Vince has to release him like the prat that he is.

Tajiri isn't exactly the Light-Heavyweight everyone is looking for. If RVD could qualify for the Light-Heavyweight Division that would be great!

I only watched 2 WCW shows on Channel 5 before WWF decided it didn't need competition. In that brief encounter what struck me was how they are always diving out of the ring on to each other. It was great, the only problem was I used to forget it was on. Why not bring some of that kind of stuff into the WWF. I'm sure the WWF could attract almost any wrestler they want, so why not get some of the old WCW cruiserweights? Maybe if they had taken on the WCWs old TV shows they would have somewhere to put all the wrestlers. Surely the WWF's own light-heavyweight division needs to be bolstered up, there are hardly any wrestlers under 230lbs or whatever weight it is.

Crash may not be a good cruiserweight but he was damn funny as Hardcore champ.
