Yesterday my Internet connection went wrong. Whenever I tried to dial-up I was told it couldn't connect, and that I should check the modem cable is pluged into the phone line, etc.
I'd checked it all and everything, seems fine. So I went into my modem settings to see if anything was up, and when it tried communicating with it, it came up with an msg a saying it couldn't as it was in use. Wired I thought, not sure whats using it.
So I did the Ctrl, Alt Delete thing and closed all the app's running, appart from Explorer and SysTray, and tried connecting to the net again ... and it wored fine.
So it seems as though something is running and using my modem for whatever reason, and I don't know what ... any ideas anyone??
Thanx in advance :o)
Be about 5:30pm today then :o)
