My friend offered to sell his Ps1 with a controller and quite a few games includeing Tomb Raider Grand Theft Auto, Gran Turismo and Rayman, there's a few others but he couldn't remember what they were.
Anyway he is letting me borrow it for a week to let me see if I like it or not, but i'll probabaly but it anyway.
He's offereing to sell me it for £30.
I'm not going to judge it by the graphics 'cos that wouldn't be fair, so i'm judging it by the gameplay.
Does anyone think I shouldn't buy it?
If so why?

Tomb Raider? I actually hate that game, most playstation games look pretty damn amazing graphically, they just seem to be weekend games, or rentals, you can complete them within a couple of days, and I hate Sony Hardware, always seems to break, other than that it's a good buy.
silk's got a better idea though, a Dreamcast would no doubt be a better buy.

Yes that's the main reason I'm probabaly going to buy it, because the games are cheap and the gameplay is great.

Yes that's the main reason I'm probabaly going to buy it, because the games are cheap and the gameplay is great.

In a word NO! but hey don't listen to me, you know how much I loathe the playstation and besides you'll probably buy it anyway, my advice is see if you can pick up a dreamcast value pack from dixons, I did and it was only £50 with 4 games! value for money? I think so...

I would, yes. You can pick up games quite cheaply, and there's plenty of classy games out there.
