Needless to say, the PS2 WILL sell more than the GameCube and Xbox.
HOWEVER, consistency is the key, and we know Sony hold the ace in that particular market. Their sales will be preety consistent for many months and years to come, whereas the GC may struggle to keep up with the pace.
As for Xbox, how will we know? I'd say it'll sell very well indeed, but whatever happens Microsoft will have some extremely over-rated figures to throw our way.
Personally I reckon that the PS2 will continue sell well, but at launch I imagine both Xbox and Gamecube will sell out.
I think how the Xbox fares depends on it's second wave of games. I know the Gamecube has a quality line up for the first year, so will keep selling to those Nintendo fans, but I don't know much about the Xbox's future line-up.
Oh, except a Buffy game.
The competition should be between the GC and XBox, this I would hope the GC would win, sadly the XBox is a good machine, but it seems that no one likes it around here (hardly the population of the world) but for me it has to be the GC *I will finish now*
Xbox - close 2nd.
GameCube - it'll be dead in the water in Europe within two years.
;-)) Well I can see this going on for the next night or 2.
