Why do people send in false cheats,thats what I can't understand. People surf the web for cheats, find some cheats, get their hopes up and break down when they don't work. Is it because of game a day? Whoever send in fake cheats are just jerks. I have always thought that cheats off the internet were guarrentied to work but 9 out of ten times they haven't worked. It's a rip off. Its a wonder why sony, nintendo and sega don't do anything about it.
False cheats are like rumours - people send them to see how far they get. As for Gameaday - if Special Reserve give prizes to cheats without trying them themselves, there is something seriously wrong with the competition.
I've always thought that cheats on the internet are guarrantied not to work, because people always send fake cheats. There are very few working cheats out there - to get real ones you must go to a site which states they try every cheat on their site.
The companies do not do anything about it because they can't, and it is a waste of their time and money. Eradicating this problem will not give them any financial gain, and people can post whatever they want on the internet. The problem will only get better if site hosts try cheats before showing them on their web sites.
