When I study I sometimes light a candle as it helps me concentrate, believe me it does work.
Anyway when I went to blow it out I noticed that the candle was nearly all melted wax...
There was few small threads of something in the wax... and they would move towards the flame at a steady speed and just before they reached the flame it would repel and go at a much faster speed in the opposite direction... does anybody know why this is?
Maybe I invented some brand new theory about that or something :D
Beleive me it happened and I'm allowed to light candles and study :)
the updraft causes them to move into the flame, but when they get too near, they encounter the rising column of warmed air from the candle.
Sonic
Maybe it came with a worm trapped inside!??
And it found the flame too hot so it jumped back, and it was attracted to it as it liked the bright colours!
