Greetings, i have spilled liquid refreshment in my gamecube controller, and the buttons have gone sticky. I need a gamebit screwdriver to open it up, and i dont feel like paying £10 just to use it once. So if anyone has a gamebit, i ask, could i borrow it?

Thanks.

Basically- you need a screwdriver called a Tri-wing screwdriver (the same on GBA's) which I do have- so you can borrow that if you like. You could also use a 2 Mm screwdriver bit ( I thin kthat's the size- i'll check if you like).

Indeed, i should be able to get away with a 2mm flathead. I will pop into B&Q tomorrow.

From someone who's been inside the cube (to prepare for painting):

The cube itself needs the special expensive socketed screwdriver bit, but if you look at the controller, that needs a different bit, kind of in the shape of a 3-pointed star.
Not done it myself, but apparently you should be able to get away with using a normal flat eaded screwdriver in the appropriate side.

Just be sure you want to go into whatever it is you'll be rummaging in before you open it up.

I have a couple of the sockets (I think they're sockets, not properly looked) you need to open SNES games. Are they the right things?
