Just been playing PES2. Normally I use the Normal Long camera on zero pan but I was getting a bit bored with match events. I tried putting pan on to 9 and it seemed like a completely new game. Much more open and free flowing - it even looks much better. I'd like to know what camera other people are using in PES2. And why it's good?

Nath,
If you use the R1 + L1 buttons you can set the amount that the camera rotates (or pans) with the action. So the screen isn't always at the same angle - it makes the game look great and you can pick passes a bit easier although you might feel a bit seasick for the first few games!

Ah thanks, that's what I thought it did but somehow I couldn't see the effect. That's something else I need to check now :D

Yep, wide, angle 9 rotation, and it's superb. You can actually aim your shots better and can see were you are passing better. Thanks for the advice! :D

I got round to trying it too. Took some getting use to, but it was actually alright. I had to go back to the original settings though as it totally messed up my feeling of the game, i could try to adapt, but i prefered to play it as it is.

That camera angle though reminded me of the half decent Actua Soccer 2 on the PS1, oddly.

I find it opens up more possibilities for varied play - and looks a bit mor realistic. I found that the pure side on view started to get a bit formulaic.
