If you use the R1 + L1 buttons you can set the amount that the camera rotates (or pans) with the action. So the screen isn't always at the same angle - it makes the game look great and you can pick passes a bit easier although you might feel a bit seasick for the first few games!

That camera angle though reminded me of the half decent Actua Soccer 2 on the PS1, oddly.
