The Playstation 2 price is £200 and it comes with a bulit in DVD player would anyone here but it but without the DVD player for £100.The system would be the same but you lost the fun of DVD's.
Also who make the DVD's I don't know because if Sony made them I would buy the bulit in DVD player because Sony is a well known company and with Sony you are given a DVD you know you can trust but I say to you keep the DVD or drop it of the system.

I know what you are saying but I don't mean the DVD by itself but the company Sony and you know if you got one that it would not break easy.

Nope, but there are several dedicated players made by Sony, costing from around £200 to over £1000.

A £200 Sony isn't going to be 'top of the range', but for over £1000 it'll be about the best you can get.

Playback quality doesn't differ too much, but the extra functions and features do. For examlple, my DVP-S725D allows me to view all angles of a multi-angle disc at once.

That depends on the model

Nope, I kept it. It's a Region 2 only high-end Sony player.

I use my PS2 for R1 discs only.

Do you ant to keep the DVD player with the Playstation 2 and pay £200 or £100 for just the Playstation 2.
But remember Sony DVD player's are top of the range.

I bought the PS2 at £299, and had no interest whatsoever in the DVD player, as I already had one.
