R games too expensive for what they are?

Well games cost alot of money to make now and think not many people buy some of them. The Getaway has cost around £5 million to make. The shops also need to make money so they take there profit. Piracy also doesnt help as people arent buying the orignal copies so the company doesnt get the money. DVD's are very cheap, but its the cost of development that needs to be covered in the price.
Films are expensive to make with most blockbusters coming in at $100 million, but big hits like Spider-man made back its development cost within a few days of being in the cinema in the US.
If game piracy stopped right now than I would think that games would then become cheaper.
