basically if all you want to do is play games like mario don't buy a xbox
xbox has different types of games but not many platformers
if you like RPGS
DRIVING GAMES
ACTION GAMES
SPORTS GAMES
etc etc then buy a xbox but mario phhff mario who needs mario.

also the umpteen million people who were disappointed with it.
Try the small amount of people who where dissapointed with it then umpteen million who throughly enjoyed it.
Oh and the 95% of magazine and internet reviews that called it one of the best games ever.
In the end though it's down to personal opinion and no sales figures or magazine reviews are gonna change mine. It's one of my favourite games ever and managed to surpass all my expectations.
